I wish to enter the following steers/heifers
in the 2013 Easter Beef Show & Sale and agree to adhere to the requirements
as outlined in the Rules and Regulations covering the Show & Sale. Not more than
three entries are allowed to show from one farmstead or owner; entry may
include any combination of steers and/or heifers as long as total number does
not exceed 3 animals. In addition, one steer or heifer may be entered per 4-H
member.

NOTE : Liability Insurance: Exhibitors are required to have proof (a copy is
satisfactory) of off-site liability insurance of $1,000,000.00. This proof of insurance must accompany the
entry form. A $25.00 extra charge per
farm will be collected for entries that do not provide the required proof of
off-site liability insurance on or before December 1st, 2012. The owner of the animals is responsible for
obtaining the insurance. Management has
been informed that this insurance covers individuals employed by the owner to
help with the care and handling of the cattle as well as 4-H members that are
not immediate family members. Confirm this with your insurance
representative. Proof of off-site
liability insurance from your insurance company can be faxed to 902-368-5729

Exhibitors that
do not assist with set up before the Show and clean up and loading of animals
after the Sale will be charged $50.00 per animal exhibited.

This Year's Judge, Jeff Scott
The judge for the 2012 PEI Easter Beef Show is Jeff Scott. Jeff and his wife, Doreen from Drumbo, Ontario farm approximately 400 acres. They calve out about 40 head of angus based commercial cows raising show cattle and replacement heifers. They also market 1300 hogs per year from their custom finish barn. Jeff, along with his late father Bill have won several Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Steer titles at the open steer show at both the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto and the Canadian Western Agribition in Regina as well as many shows throughout Ontario. Since 2002, the Scott family have won numerous Grand and Reserve Grand Champions at the Royal Winter Fair 4H Market Steer Show knows as the Queen's Guineas. The most recent wins include a Grand Champion in 2010 by daughter Laura and another grand champion in 2011 by daughter Amanda. This is Mr. Scott's fourth appearance as the judge of the PEI Easter Beef Show.
